Amit Mishra
What a player . A crafty leg spinner always remained in the shadow of the legend that is Anil Kumble , Misha has at last found his place under the sun . He made the international cut a number of times but was unlicky to not be able to make full use of oppurunities . In the alst match that Delhi Daredevils played aginst Deccan Chargers it was his two wickets ( Afridi and Gibsy ) that set up the match and his hat trick at the death sealed the Chargers fate . Way to go dude . Keep it up.

Laxmi Ratan Shukla
Laxmi ratan Shukla..The Bengal Ranji Captain is a veteran at 27 years old. This is the story of an exceptationally talented home grown cricketer who got into the thick of international cricket at 17 years of age as a fats bowler . BUt destiny had other things in store for him . He got injured and that set him back . Now a reliable middle order bat , one change bowler and electric presence in the field either close in or deep . He has shown his class in all the outings that Kolkata Knight Riders have had . It will not be surprising if we see his name in the next 20-20 tournament that India plays . Best wishes to the young lad.

Shane Watson
Shane Watson - The handsome yet supremely talented Australian who has been warming the benches with minimum national call up has got wonderfull platform to showcase his talent and to tell everybody that what Australia is missing . Till now after the first leg of the IPL is over he has been calculated ( and not voted ) to be the most value for money cricketer . He has flourished with both bat and the ball and answered his captains call whenever needed . Here Shane Warne also gets crdit for astute handling of this great talent . It is a pity that this young thing did not get a call up even as shadow player for Australia's tour of West Indies when Michael Clarke has pulled out citing personal reasons ( his fiancee's father is not well ) . The honur has instead gone to Brad Hodge of Knight Riders . Watch Out for more encouraging performance from this player in years to come .
